I’m Robin Decloedt, and this blog is my way of documenting everything I’m learning on my path to becoming a Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE). If you’re passionate about Wi-Fi, networking, or are just starting out on your own wireless journey, you’re in the right place.
Why This Blog?
For me, learning has always been about more than just reading a book or passing an exam. The real growth happens when I try to explain what I’ve learned—breaking down complex concepts, applying them to real-world scenarios, and sometimes stumbling through challenges along the way. That’s what this blog is all about: summarizing my notes, reflecting on my experiences, and helping others who might be on the same path.
A Little About My Background
I’ve been working in the networking field since 2018, but it wasn’t until recently that Wi-Fi became my primary focus. After years of working on everything from small networks to datacenter environments, I was struck by how fascinating wireless networking truly is. It’s not just about making connections—it’s about understanding how those connections work, how to design them efficiently, and how to troubleshoot when things go wrong.
What started with me picking up a CWNA study guide quickly turned into an obsession. After nailing the CWNA exam, I knew I was hooked. Now, my goal is to reach the top tier of wireless expertise—CWNE—and I’m excited to share every step of that journey with you.
